Donna has been a friend of ours since she did a workshop for us several years ago.
When we heard she was being inducted into the Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame, we decided to have a tournament in her honor to commemorate the occasion. Though the ceremony is in November, we decided to have the tournament in July so that we could include the two special young guests we have had this summer, Victo (9) from Seoul, and Alan (10) from Nanjing.

Though Donna was not present in person, she was with us in spirit.
Though Donna is a saber fencer (as is Alan) our tournament was foil because that’s the weapon most of our members are most familiar with.
